Youth Competitive Baseball

Tupelo Ranger Baseball and Tupelo Titan Baseball is the highest level of baseball offered by Tupelo Department of Parks and Recreation. Age divisions range from 7U-14U, and are sanctioned through USSSA Baseball. Coaches are voted on by the Tupelo Youth Baseball Association Board, and players are chosen each year through a tryout assessed by two evaluators and one head coach. The coach and independent evaluators rate each participant on fielding, mobility, arm strength, accuracy, speed, bat control, ball control, and power.    

Youth Recreational Baseball

Recreational Baseball is designed to offer all players a chance to experience the game at the grass roots level. Games are played during the week and it is open to all players aged 4-18. The recreational baseball programs goal is to teach the basic fundamentals and sportsmanship. The new baseball complex has nine lighted baseball fields located at Ballard Park with restrooms, concessions, and a one-mile trail surrounding the park.
